Why do I need to update my Found card?

Why do I need to update my Found card?

We’re improving our systems and need to issue Found customers new physical and virtual cards. Upgrading your card is quick, easy, and will ensure that you’re able to keep making purchases with Found.

  1. Log into your Found account. You should be presented with an upgrade screen.

  2. Tap Get started to start the upgrade process.

  3. Verify your shipping address and tap Next.

  4. Choose a color for your card and tap Next.

  5. Check your business name as it will appear on your card and tap Next.

  6. Review the card updates page, and tap Confirm updates.

That’s it! If you’re using a digital wallet, you can immediately add your updated virtual card to that wallet. Your physical card will be mailed to you within five to ten business days. You’ll be able to track your card’s shipment in your Found app.

FAQs

Do I have to get a new physical card?

Yes. Once you complete the migration process, you will receive a new Found card in the mail. You will be able to use your virtual card immediately—be sure to update any recurring payments to your card.

What else is changing?

Found users who opened an account prior to May 31, 2023 will also receive a virtual business debit card in addition to their physical card and any custom cards they may have created. This virtual card will be shown at the top of the Cards page, rather than your existing physical card.

Found customers who opened an account on or after May 31, 2023 already enjoy the benefits of a primary virtual business debit card.

What about virtual cards that I’ve shared?

If you have opted to share your custom virtual cards with a trusted business partner or employee, you will need to share your new, upgraded cards with those people.

How long do I have to upgrade?

We encourage all Found users to upgrade their cards as soon as possible to prevent any disruption. Failing to upgrade your card will eventually result in being unable to use your old card(s) to make transactions or receive deposits.
